Lycetts Announces Series of Promotions

Leading insurance broker and independent financial adviser Lycetts has announced a series of senior promotions that underline its commitment to developing talent and strengthening the leadership needed to deliver on its strategic growth ambitions. The appointments will help ensure the business remains agile and well positioned to meet evolving client and market needs.

Simon Aitken has been appointed Head of Office for General Insurance in Newcastle, while Cristina Ion takes on the role of Head of Office in Edinburgh, both reporting to Regional Director North, William Barne.

They are joined by Dorothy Pigg, Chair of the Commercial Leadership Group, and Toby Heathcoat Amory, Chair of the Household and Private Client Leadership Group, who together bring more than 25 years’ experience with Lycetts.

In addition, Gill Teasdale has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief of Staff, reporting directly to Chief Executive Ian Barclay.
