Simply Business Launches Big Dreams Project

The latest from the Business Insurance specialist as they back entrepreneurs in the UK;

 Simply Business, a digital insurance broker that serves small businesses and landlords, has announced the launch of The Big Dreams Project to help 10,000 entrepreneurs start or grow their businesses by 2030. The initiative will feature partnerships with entrepreneurship programmes, cash grants, business training courses and employee volunteer activities.

As part of The Big Dreams Project, Simply Business will:

• Partner with Epic Futures, an entrepreneurship programme based in Northampton, to support more than 50 local, disadvantaged young people in developing entrepreneurial and life skills.
• Pilot an entrepreneurial skills project for students in London through a new partnership with Ada College, the National College for Digital Skills.
• Offer cash grant opportunities though the company’s Young Entrepreneur Fund, which provides £5,000 grants to entrepreneurs ages 18-30, as well as business support from the nonprofit Hatch Enterprise.
• Establish an annual ‘impact week,’ which will encourage Simply Business employees to volunteer their time and skills to support charity partners and small-business owners.

In addition, the company will continue to raise awareness of, and propose solutions for, the challenges small businesses face by commissioning pertinent research, such as the “Generation Entrepreneur Report” published earlier this year in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses.
