The word from Mission on a new MGA set to do business in 2026;
Mission, the global MGA incubator, has announced that it has reached an agreement to support a new team in launching Kovrilo, a UK MGA that will provide a range of commercial insurance products tailored to SME clients.
Kovrilo’s core business centres on a flexible, tech-driven underwriting platform that empowers brokers to tailor products to the specific insurance needs of individual small businesses. The MGA, which enables brokers to build modular insurance for SMEs, will be run by Tim Smith and Sonia Habib.
Tim Smith was most recently Underwriting and Product Director at Jensten Group for six years and previously worked at Policyfast and Aviva. Sonia Habib also joins from Jensten Group where she spent over a decade, most recently as Head of Product Development.
Ross Dingwall, CEO of Mission, said: “Tim and Sonia exemplify the sort of people Mission is designed to support – a strong network of connections, a sharp understanding of what the market needs and a healthy desire to succeed. Mission is in an exciting period of growth with Kovrilo marking our second launch of 2025, and other innovative, exceptional MGAs still to come.”
