Apollo, a Skyward Group Company (Nasdaq: SKWD), is pleased to share that Vinay Mistry, Chief Commercial Operations Officer, has been appointed to the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) Board, effective from 2026. Vinay joined Apollo in 2019, and since then, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Apollo’s risk strategy and governance.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Vinay is deeply committed to advancing industry standards through active participation in influential committees. He has served on several LMA committees, including as chair of the CRO Committee and as a founding member of the Sustainability Committee.
Commenting on his appointment, Vinay said: “I am truly honoured and excited to join the LMA Board. Having long been committed to supporting the market’s progress, I look forward to contributing further to its development and working collaboratively with the Board to drive meaningful change.”
The appointment continues Apollo’s active role in shaping and supporting the Lloyd’s market.
SECOND BOARD APPOINTMENT
The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has announced the appointment of two senior market leaders to its Board, effective immediately.
The LMA is governed by a Board which sets the overall strategy, direction and priorities of the association. The Board is made up of senior market practitioners and LMA leaders.
The new Board members are Nick Moore, Chief Executive Officer of Argenta and Vinay Mistry, Chief Commercial Operations Officer of Apollo.
Alex Powell, Chief Executive Officer of AEGIS London and Andrew Brooks, Non-Executive Director of Ascot Group, have both stepped down from the LMA Board at the end of their terms.
