The latest news from the IFB as they welcome a new member;
The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) is pleased to welcome Dayinsure onboard and share that the specialist insurer was the first to join its membership in 2026. Dayinsure is one of the UK’s leading providers of flexible, short-term motor insurance for cars, vans, and motorhomes. They offer fully comprehensive policies from as little as one hour up to 30 days.
Dayinsure will now have access to IFB’s counter-fraud solutions and be able to participate in cross-industry initiatives, whilst contributing vital intelligence to help tackle fraud. By bringing together varied expertise, data and lived experience, the IFB can foster more innovative, inclusive and effective collective action against fraud, ultimately protecting a wider range of victims and the integrity of the system as a whole.
Ursula Jallow, Director of the IFB, added:
“We’re very pleased to have Dayinsure join our membership. Specialists like Dayinsure, who play a key role in the provision of insurance services, will see their fraud defences strengthened and be in a better place to protect their honest customers and reduce fraud-related costs.”
Chris Bibby, CEO of Dayinsure said:
“Becoming a member of the Insurance Fraud Bureau is an important step for Dayinsure and reflects our commitment to protecting honest customers and the wider insurance market. By working closely with the IFB we can play a more active role in identifying, preventing and disrupting fraudulent activity, particularly in our own short-term insurance sector. We are delighted to be the first short-term insurance business to join, and we’re excited to collaborate with industry partners to share intelligence and help protect customers.”
