Clear Group expands its presence on the South Coast with the acquisition of Pangea Insurance Brokers and Pangea Life

Clear Group, the UK’s fast growing independent insurance intermediary, has strengthened its presence on the South Coast with the acquisition of Pangea Insurance Brokers and Pangea Life, specialists in commercial & personal insurance, employee benefits, and business protection.

Owned and led by Michael Piper and Stephen Goulter, Pangea has built a strong reputation for delivering a highly personalised and professional service, supported by an in-house claims team. The business generates an annual income in excess of £3 million.

Under the leadership of Michael and Stephen, the business has grown to a team of more than 30 dedicated insurance professionals, who will all now join Clear.

The acquisition represents a positive and strategic outcome for Pangea’s clients and employees. By joining Clear Group, the business gains access to enhanced scale, broader market reach, and additional resources, while retaining the  personal service that have been central to its success. Clients will continue to benefit from the same trusted relationships, now supported by the capabilities of a larger group.
