Torsten Bell MP was appointed Parliamentary Secretary in HM Treasury, Parliamentary Under Secretary at the DWP and Pensions Minister in January 2025. He has a background in economic policy and his research focused on how to renew the UK’s economic strategy to raise growth and reduce inequality.
