Coversure has opened its first new office this financial year, underlining its continued focus on supporting network members to develop specialist, own branded propositions within the franchise model.
The new Midlands-based operation has been launched by existing Coversure member, Coversure Leamington Spa, under a new, standalone brand, Dharam Rakshak. It is dedicated to helping organisations, including churches, mosques, synagogues and faith-related charities, to access clear, appropriate and specialist insurance cover.
The new faith and charities focused brand is headed up by Amrit Kalyan and Jason Turell, who founded the existing Leamington Spa operation back in 2016. The pair will also continue to run the original, more general commercial insurance-focused Coversure-branded business in parallel to Dharam Rakshak.
Amrit and Jason are experienced insurance market professionals. Amrit has worked in the insurance sector since 2009, across different product areas, whilst Jason has held customer-facing insurance roles since 2007, building a strong reputation for helping clients understand and manage their risks.
The launch of the new, specialist brand, demonstrates how the Coversure network encourages members to identify specific market opportunities and build dedicated brands while remaining fully supported within the wider network.
Jordan Maskell, Franchisee Director at Coversure, commented:
“This is exactly the type of growth we want to encourage across the network. Seeing an established member identify an opportunity, build a specialist proposition, and launch a new brand is hugely rewarding. It shows how Coversure supports long-term business development and we’re excited to see what Amrit and Jason build with this new office.
“As a network we support brokers who want to grow through specialisation, and we encourage our members to develop clearly defined propositions that reflect local expertise and niche knowledge, while benefiting from Coversure’s insurer relationships, compliance support, systems, and operational infrastructure.”
Amrit Kaylan added:
“Launching a new brand is an exciting step for us. The support we’ve received, from shaping the proposition to setting up the operational side, has made the process smooth and gave us the confidence to move forward.”
