The international car maker group is looking at the service and repair sector;
Stellantis has pumped significant resource, personnel and benefits into its global Eurorepar Car Service network (ERCS) following a joint venture with MSX International, creating the new enterprise, Octago. The UK is the first international market to benefit, with the new organisation bringing together Stellantis’s parts distribution strength and MSX International’s 30 years of aftersales expertise all in service of one goal: helping independent ERCS workshops run better businesses.
The launch represents a direct response to feedback gathered from across the ERCS membership. Workshops have consistently highlighted the need for more hands-on support, stronger connections to the Distrigo parts supply network, and access to better business tools. Octago has been built to answer all three.
Central to Octago’s model is a new team of dedicated performance managers who will work directly with ERCS members to analyse, advise and help optimise workshop operations. Unlike traditional field support roles, these performance managers are focused on outcomes – identifying commercial opportunities, addressing operational bottlenecks and helping member businesses grow sustainably.
In time, Octago will also make available a new suite of tools and software designed to improve workshop efficiency, business management and customer service. Further details on the technology offer will be communicated to members directly.
Critically, Octago will act as a vital bridge between ERCS workshops and their local Distrigo hubs, strengthening the supply chain relationship and ensuring members can access the right parts, at the right time, with the right support behind them.
Commenting on the launch, Neil Gibbs, Head of Network at Eurorepar Car Service, said: “The independent aftermarket is at the heart of how millions of drivers keep their vehicles on the road, and Octago is committed to investing in it for the long term. This joint venture brings dedicated expertise, new technology and a stronger connection to our Distrigo network directly to our members. We’ve listened carefully to what our workshops need to grow their businesses, and this is the start of our response.”
Octago is now live across the UK, with rollout continuing across its nine other European markets throughout the year.
