Zurich UK celebrates three years of Zurich Club Blue by offering partner brokers and their employees a free virtual GP service.
Since the launch in June 2023, Club Blue has supported thousands of individuals across hundreds of brokerages with learning, development, and wellbeing support. In 2025 alone, Club Blue provided over 6,700 hours of L&D support for more than 160 UK broker members, helping these organisations, develop their staff through professional qualifications and leadership training, and ultimately enable them to futureproof their businesses and the industry more widely.
The addition of the virtual GP service has been designed to support brokers and their teams with their wellbeing. It also enables them to strengthen employee wellbeing propositions without any additional costs.
The enhanced virtual GP service marks a significant step forward, giving both brokers and their employees unlimited, round‑the‑clock access to online GP consultations, expert medical advice and diagnosis. Delivered in partnership with HealthHero, the service enables members to seamlessly book appointments, arrange prescriptions and request referral letters 24/7, ensuring fast and reliable access to healthcare when it is needed most.
Designed to reflect the realities of modern working life, the offering provides flexible, convenient and accessible support that empowers individuals to prioritise their health without disrupting their day.
Commenting on the enhanced proposition, Jacqui Kelly, Head of Sales and Distribution for Zurich said: “Brokers are the heartland of our industry and so much more. They are people building businesses, supporting clients, and navigating constant change. As their world evolves, we’re right there with them. Through Zurich Club Blue, we’re strengthening our support, so brokers can truly thrive both today and in the future.
“At Zurich, we believe that behind every successful business is a team of people who should feel supported and able to perform at their best. That’s why we’re making it easier to access the right health support at the right time. By adding physiotherapy and dietitian services, we’re helping tackle issues early, so small problems don’t become bigger ones.
“When you consider that 148 million1 working days are lost each year to sickness absence in the UK, and poor workplace health costs employers around £85 billion annually2, this isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people, livelihoods and businesses staying strong. Supporting brokers and their teams in this way isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s something we genuinely care about and I’m incredibly proud to be able to support our partner brokers with this new proposition.”
