What’s On: Earnix Excelerate 2026 Hits London

 Some details on the Earnix event which is fast approaching;

Insurers are operating in a tougher environment: Changed market conditions in the past year are adding to longer-term pressures on insurers, even as AI is rapidly expanding awareness of new capabilities to serve the business

At Earnix Excelerate London 2026, taking place 16–17 September at Convene Sancroft, St. Paul’s, more than 350 insurance leaders, practitioners, technology experts and partners will come together to find out how to be ready for what’s next. Leaders will examine how insurers can make better decisions across pricing, underwriting, customer engagement and other critical functions — around a central proposition: competitive advantage in insurance will increasingly be won at the point of decision.

Industry practitioners from Generali, Hiscox, Industrial Alliance, and ManyPets will share how they are applying new technology, data and decisioning capabilities across pricing, underwriting, claims and customer engagement.

A dedicated Commercial Underwriting panel, hosted by Roger Oldham, Founder of the London Market Forums, will also examine how underwriting is evolving as risk becomes more complex and technology plays a greater role in assessment and action.

Robin Gilthorpe, CEO of Earnix, will open the event with Built for What’s Next: The Decisions That Will Define Insurance Performance, setting out why the ability to recognize change and respond to it is becoming a defining source of competitive advantage — and why insurers need to rethink how consequential decisions are made across the business, and how they impact the bottom line.

That means improving not just individual decisions in areas such as pricing and underwriting, but the way intelligence is applied across the entire insurance journey with governance at the core:

  • Connect decisions that influence one another. Pricing, underwriting, customer engagement and other decisions increasingly shape the same business outcomes. Insurers need to make those decisions with greater awareness of their impact across the wider business.
  • Apply the right intelligence to each decision. Predictive AI, generative AI, intelligent agents and human expertise each bring different strengths. The opportunity is to bring the right combination of intelligence to each business decision — aligned to the need, the context and the value the decision is expected to create.
  • Build governance into how decisions are executed. As AI moves from informing and recommending toward taking action, explainability, permissions, human oversight and accountability need to be embedded in the decision itself.

Navigate a changing risk environment

Insurers are making decisions against a backdrop of more complex and interconnected risk. Climate, cyber and AI are changing what needs to be assessed, how quickly conditions can shift and how far insurers need to look ahead. In some areas, there simply is not the depth of historical data insurers have traditionally relied on — making it increasingly important to combine past experience with new sources of intelligence and adapt decisions as conditions change.

  • Major Tim Peake will bring a different perspective on the same challenge, drawing on experience in extreme environments to explore leadership, teamwork and decision-making when conditions change rapidly and the stakes are high.

Prepare for What’s Next

Excelerate London will also advance the discussion begun at the sold out inaugural North American Excelerate event in Boston in June, where Earnix introduced AIOS, the AI Orchestration System for Insurance.

  • Be’eri Mart, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Earnix, will outline the next stage of Earnix innovation, including advances in underwriting and the continued evolution of AIOS as an environment for orchestrating models, agents, applications, data, workflows and human expertise around decisions across the insurers business.
  • Kamila Mróz, Attorney-at-Law, Partner Associate, Financial Services & FinTech Regulatory Advisory, Deloitte; and Barak Rozenwax, Product Manager, Earnix, will examine Responsible AI by Design: a session that outlines how evolving regulations are being woven into AIOS. This will include discussion of  the controls required as predictive, generative and agentic AI move deeper into insurance operations — including explainability, permissions, human oversight, traceability and accountability.

“Insurers have more data, analysis and AI at their disposal than ever before,” said Robin Gilthorpe, CEO of Earnix. “What matters now is how effectively they turn that intelligence into better decisions, and those decisions into action. Doing that with speed, precision and confidence increasingly defines competitive advantage — and it is at the heart of the conversation at Excelerate London.”
