Tesco Insurance and Money Services has today opened the doors to its new Glasgow office.
Located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, the new office brings together more than 300 Tesco Insurance and Money Services colleagues into a single, purpose-built two-floor workspace spanning 19,108 sq ft at the recently refurbished Spectrum building on Waterloo Street. Global real estate advisor CBRE advised on the letting to Tesco Insurance and Money Services on behalf of landlord Futureal Group.
Designed using colleague feedback, the new workspace has been created to better support the ways colleagues work, collaborate and serve customers.
Throughout the design process, colleagues were invited to share what mattered most to them in a workplace. Their feedback directly shaped the layout and facilities, from creating quieter customer service areas to providing more spaces for collaboration and informal breaks.
The building itself is powered by 100% renewable energy, supporting Tesco Insurance and Money Services’ wider sustainability ambitions.
Located in the heart of the city, the office is well connected to Glasgow’s rail, subway and bus networks, with Glasgow Central Station and the M8 motorway both just minutes away. Its central location also places colleagues close to a wide range of shops, cafés and other local amenities.
The move has taken place in phases, with Customer Service colleagues being the first to relocate before the office opens more widely across the business later this month.
