Allianz Uses Formula E Marketing Opportunity to The Max

As the Formula E Racing season concludes this weekend, race partner Allianz, has chosen the occasion of the finale in NYC to create and offer immersive virtual reality experiences for race fans and museum visitors alike. The special show at MOMA – Museum of Modern Art –

In addition, Allianz invites New Yorkers to join its Explorer micro-conference to discuss collaboration and co-creation between disciplines as science fact and science fiction begin to merge. The debate on Thursday 14 July – which forms part of Allianz’s Global Explorer program – will feature the award winning architect James Ramsey.

As race teams battle it out in a bid to be crowned Formula E season 2017/18 champion, Allianz offers the possibility of exploring the future in a unique full body virtual reality flight experience. The experience allows visitors to soar through virtual universes and encounter technologies such as manned drones and unmanned AI vehicles, before finally touching down on Mars of the future. Taking an unexpected turn, the flight also allows visitors to view the future through the eyes and work of the visionary artist Bodys Isek Kingelez.

Allianz is the main sponsor of the first US-retrospective of the artist. Extending the effort to use technology for riveting experiences, Allianz and MoMA are providing a full virtual recreation of the artist’s intricate sculptures that suggest utopian possibilities for global urban sites.
