Brokers are being invited to a keynote session at the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) in Manchester this week.
AXA Partners’ Sales, Marketing & Distribution Director, Kelly Ward, will lead the session at BIBA’s Fringe, to shine a light on how businesses can prosper, outside of competitive pricing. He will be joined by Simon Binns, Chief Marketing Officer at Fingopay – a unique transactional service void of cash, cards or passwords, who will give his view on how brokers could achieve this.
Ward said: “With revenues dropping and margins squeezed, it’s important that brokers identify their point of differentiation, and embrace alternative ways to grow their business.
“There are many learnings that the broker market, which has seen some resistance to change, can take from challenges faced in other industries. Ease, convenience and speed are paramount to customers, with price very often not being top priority for them. Furthermore, it’s about keeping your differentiation simple and adapting as you go.
“We’ve invited Fingopay to this session, to discover how they have overcome their own challenges and also realised the above key learnings; as well as demonstrate the unique services that have been introduced in their sector.”
Since its inception, and with the goal of expanding into new markets to meet changing customer needs, AXA Partners has joined forces with multiple innovative brands in the insurtech, utilities, telecoms and home services industries. This has included EE, SA Systems, Fixflo, Pier Insurance, and most recently, ScottishPower. As part of its ongoing plans for growth, AXA Partners is extending its proposition to include on-demand and connected services, delivering further value to its customers.
Ward continued: “We are excited to be collaborating as One AXA on stand E40 again this year, in order to provide greater value to our broker clients. At AXA Partners we are focused on the overarching group strategy, to move away from being a payer to a partner; adding value to customers’ lives through relevant and problem-solving services, such as those that provide prevention and help, when needed.”
AXA Partners’ session on differentiation takes place at BIBA’s Fringe at Manchester Central on Wednesday May 15th from 13:15 – 14:00. For more information, and to book your place, please visit the BIBA website.
