Freedom Services Group (FSG) is delighted to announce the appointment of Paula Coulthard to the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer, reporting to Group Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sam White.
Having successfully held the role of Managing Director of Pukka Insure since the launch of the MGA in 2015, Paula has a proven track record within the organisation for business development and consistent profitability. Former Director, James Blake, takes on the role of Managing Director for Pukka Insure.
With substantial stints at Apex, Ibex and the Callaghan Group in Gibraltar culminating in over 17 years insurance industry experience, Paula brings a wealth of valuable insight to the newly created role. In addition to overseeing the traditional commercial side of the business, Paula will also head up marketing, communication and branding for the group along with the corporate social responsibility strategy and activation.
Commenting on the appointment FSG Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sam White, said: “Paula has been an incredible asset to the business since she joined us in 2015. Not only is she a fantastic team player and a serial over-achiever but she’s an epic human which makes her a brilliant leader. Paula embodies our ethos of being authentic in the work place, she’s not afraid to challenge existing systems and processes and, with Pukka, she did a fantastic job of helping to build a business and a brand from scratch, honing skills I know she will put to great use for the group as a whole.”
Paula Coulthard added: “The timing made perfect sense for me. Being part of the team from inception with Pukka as a start-up has been a huge challenge but it’s one I have really enjoyed and now there is a fantastic team in place to maintain that momentum, I’m ready for another challenge. I’m passionate about brand communication so adding this into my remit is a really good fit for me.
The next twelve months will be very big for FSG, we’re in the process of creating a new corporate digital strategy, we’re investing heavily on the technology side of things. We’re completely rethinking the way policyholders buy and fundamentally use their insurance to ensure that we become the consumer champion we have set out to be and we’re also working on a couple of very innovative and inspiring community philanthropic initiatives that we’re really pleased to be involved with. Lot’s more exciting news to come very soon. Watch this space.”
