Award-winning flexible hire provider Reflex Vehicle Hire has revamped its used vehicle sales service as part of a major update to its website. Reflex Vehicle Sales has always provided second-hand vehicles with first class service, but the upgraded digital platform enhances the offering with a fresh look and improved insights for trade customers.
The website offers a new search engine to find the right vehicles, more detailed photographs, expanded lists of specifications and features, along with a dedicated login to an online hub for traders to manage vehicle enquiries and orders.
Reflex Vehicle Sales offers cars and vans direct from the Reflex Vehicle Hire fleet.
Commercial vehicle brands include Isuzu, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The car range includes Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Peugeot, Skoda, Range Rover and Volkswagen.
Each year, hundreds of used vehicles are sold to trade customers, who trust Reflex’s reputation for honesty, quality, and a partnership approach. Research shows that customers value used cars and vans offered by Reflex Vehicle Hire more highly because they know they have been looked after and have detailed service histories.
The choice available to trade buyers is growing every year.
Martin Tyers, Reflex Vehicle Hire Fleet Manager, now oversees vehicles worth more than £80 million in total as the number of cars and vans on hire has nearly doubled to more than 5,000 since he joined the business in 2014.
He ensures they reach the used vehicle market in great condition and with a full service history.
Martin said: “I oversee the sourcing of thousands of vehicles each year and manage them throughout their working life with us. Our award-winning Driive with Reflex technology helps customers to carefully monitor vehicles, so they are cared for and maintained properly.”
He added: “Our ‘safety as standard’ commitment ensures our hire customers can keep vehicles and drivers safe while on the road. That also benefits trade customers who go on to purchase our cars and vans as used vehicles.”
Vehicles are typically sold at three to four years old and will have been owned by Reflex Vehicle Hire since new. They will have been regularly serviced throughout their life by Reflex’s team of trained professional technicians. Martin oversees a team of five colleagues, including Remarketing Manager Rory Morris, who has more than 15 years of experience in vehicle sales.
Rory added: “Customers know our vehicles are cared for. We know the entire service history of every vehicle and that builds trust with our trade customers.”
Cars and vans are provided with two keys, an example of the attention to detail and long-term vehicle care offered by Reflex Vehicle Hire. In addition, they are offered with any signwriting removed and with full preparation, including a valet.
To reflect Reflex Vehicle Hire’s commitment to safety, speed limiters that restrict vans to 70mph are left on, although it is a simple process for customers to remove them if needed once the sale has been completed.
Reflex Vehicle Sales has been supporting its used vehicle customers by keeping supply flowing during the Coronavirus pandemic. In recognition of the challenges facing the motor trade during the crisis, it has introduced a free delivery service, which keeps customer costs down and ensures traders can meet the needs of their own clients.
When traders have needed vehicles, the Reflex Vehicle Sales team has ensured that deliveries are made using safe and sterile procedures.
In normal circumstances, customers would be able to collect their vehicles direct from Reflex Vehicle Sales, but the site is only open to staff as part of restrictions to help protect the NHS and combat the virus.
