If you work in the insurance sector then you’ll know that some comparison sites, and insurer websites do have plenty of questions and boxes to tick when a consumer wants a car insurance quote. But which insurers complete the necessary tasks online fastest?
Leading FinTech expert Altus announces the launch of DigitalBar, in collaboration with Pancentric Digital, which will go a long way towards answering these eternal riddles. DigitalBar is a new online platform providing a digital maturity league table for the UK’s top Insurers with scoring and analysis across the insurance lifecycle and an expanding showcase of Insurers’ digital journeys.
Mark Andrews, Insurance Director at Altus, commented:
“Altus has been tracking digital innovation and transformation trends in the insurance sector since 2015 with regular reports and analysis. In the 5 years of doing this research we’ve assessed over 2000 digital insurance journeys. We’re delighted to be partnering with Pancentric Digital on the new DigitalBar initiative. DigitalBar leverages our research heritage and takes it to another level by allowing ongoing access to benchmark scores along with screenshots and videos of Insurers’ user journeys. We are launching the platform with Quote and Buy journeys for Household and Motor products, ranking the 40 insurance brands. The maturity scoring covers digital self-serve capabilities across the whole policy lifecycle (Quote & Buy, MTAs, Renewals, Claims, Customer Interaction).”
Simon Fenn, Director at Pancentric Digital, commented:
“As a digital consultancy specialising in the insurance space, we’re frequently asked to benchmark Insurers’ digital activities against their rivals to support service improvement and enhanced customer experience. Invariably these insights are one-off exercises, but the new DigitalBar service makes this type of benchmarking insight continuously available to stakeholders, while also scoring digital maturity against a common set of tried & tested assessment criteria providing a valuable, independent metric for digital progress – a step forward for the sector.”
