Specialist mobile technology insurance provider CPU Group have brought forward the launch of its automated artificial intelligence claims validation model within its Genie tech ecosystem in response to the latest national lockdown. Following a successful testing and pilot phase the machine learning automated processes enable claims to be instantly verified and notified to approved repairers for servicing.
At a time when many providers are struggling with service provision and meeting service level agreements due to the restrictions in place and challenges caused by COVID restrictions – CPU are able to provide an enhanced service at no extra cost to the end customer.
Greg Gregory, Managing Director at CPU Group explained:
‘We have for many years provided a rapid delivery claims service by creating a platform that encourages customers to submit claims online – over 95% of claims are submitted online. Over the past 12 months we have worked on building a tech solution to validate claims 24/7 using artificial intelligence and as a result we are now able to provide outcomes in seconds, instantly informing both the customer and the approved service centre which means we can offer a same day repair/replacement service’.
‘We believe the claims service is the most important aspect of mobile device insurance and have invested heavily in the development of the AI features to ensure our business, education and retail customers can continue to operate with minimal disruption by speeding up the repair and replacement service. Never before has this been so important with the remote working and home learning situation enforced on business and schools.
