UK windscreen repair and replacement company, Auto Windscreens has started the New Year strongly, opening a new fitting hub in St Albans and being certified to ISO 45001 – the first global health and safety management system. The company announced its certification to ISO 45001 earlier this month. As an international standard, ISO 45001 crosses geographic, political, economic, commercial and social boundaries, setting a single benchmark for the management of occupational health and safety and the protection of employees.
James MacBeth, Managing Director at Auto Windscreens said: “It’s a particularly relevant time for us to achieve the ISO 45001 certification. Our operations and health and safety teams have demonstrated that they will work tirelessly to achieve the standards that our partners, employees and customers demand.
“The St Albans hub is just one of 10 new sites we plan to open this year. 2021 may well prove to be another challenge, but we’re more than ready for it!”
