Specialist loss adjusting firm, QuestGates, has boosted its operations in Ireland with the completion of two acquisitions.
Having acquired an equity interest in Dublin-based Rossiter Claims Management Services in 2019, QuestGates has acquired the remainder of the business. Founder and owner, Paul Rossiter, and his team will all become part of the QuestGates Ireland team and Paul will be taking up the newly created role of Divisional Director, with overall responsibility for liability services in Ireland.
Commenting on the completion of the sale of the business to QuestGates, he says: “We at Rossiter are delighted to be joining QuestGates. Having worked with the team for the last two years, we are excited to have the opportunity to consolidate our expertise for the benefit of our clients.”
QuestGates has also acquired liability specialists, Keating Claims Adjusters, also based in Dublin. Owner, Colm Keating and his team will all be joining QuestGates Ireland. Colm will be assuming the newly created role of Technical Director and will have ongoing responsibility for service, quality and client relationships.
On becoming part of the QuestGates team Colm says: “Increasingly, we have been asked to provide an all island service and are delighted to be linking up with QuestGates Ireland. This will enable us to provide that all-encompassing service and enjoy the benefit of a larger team of liability adjusters in servicing our clients’ needs.”
Following a period of consistent growth over the past four years and ongoing recruitment – most recently appointing Sarah-Jane Saunders to the property team and Frankie Butler to the liability team, these acquisitions mean that QuestGates is now the largest independent provider of loss adjusting services across both jurisdictions on the island of Ireland, with a team approaching 25 claims and adjusting specialists.
Director of Ireland and Specialist Services, Glen Donaldson, says: “We have firmly established QuestGates as the loss adjuster of choice for many insurers and brokers across Ireland. We’ve seen growing demand over the years for our range of specialist expertise, particularly in commercial property, environmental and liability claims, and an appreciation of our commitment to service.
“There is a vibrant market in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and a huge pool of home-grown talent to support our ambitious growth plans. In fact, we’re recruiting three new property and environmental adjusters in Dublin in addition to welcoming the teams from Rossiter and Keating into the QuestGates family. We believe there is tremendous opportunity for a service-focused business like ours and we’re looking forward to continuing to shake-up the status-quo.”
