Horwich Farrelly Receives ISO9001 Accreditation

Horwich Farrelly, the UK’s leading legal advisers to the insurance and commercial sectors, has secured ISO 9001 accreditation. The ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management systems and demonstrates Horwich Farrelly’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of quality and service.

To receive accreditation, Horwich Farrelly’s system underwent extensive third-party assessment to illustrate that all quality management requirements had been implemented and show a commitment to practices that continuously improve client satisfaction.

The accreditation builds on the firm’s continued commitment to high professional standards and providing quality legal services and advice to clients. As part of this a ‘Quality Management System’ and a new Quality Policy have also been established, to help deliver a consistent approach understood and applied by all to deliver a best-in-class service throughout the organisation. The Quality Policy provides a framework for setting, monitoring and reviewing quality standards and ensuring that quality is at the forefront of all actions as a company.

Ronan McCann, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at Horwich Farrelly, said: “We are committed to maintaining and growing our position as a leader in the legal services industry and delivering a quality service is a hugely important part of that. It is not only a way to differentiate ourselves from our competitors and increase client satisfaction, but it is vital in fostering a continuous improvement culture that looks to learn and improve the quality of our service as we grow and diversify into new legal markets.”

A newly-created Quality Assurance Committee has also been established, to understand the work being undertaken by the firm and measuring successes around quality levels. The Committee is made up of senior members from across the business and conducts regular reviews of progress made as well as tracking initiatives effectiveness.

McCann continued: “By maintaining our focus on quality and getting that process right, we can better support and progress our ambitious growth plans. Gaining this accreditation further solidifies our quality management framework and demonstrates the high standards we uphold to both existing and potential clients alike. I would like to thank the team, particularly Jade Majid, Head of Risk & Assurance, and Nicola Malbon, Head of Continuous Improvement, for all their hard work in securing this accreditation as well as their continued dedication to the highest standards of service company wide.”
