You know insurance brand loyalty goes beyond reducing the premium. There are other ways to keep customers happy, as Zego demonstrates here;
Leading UK commercial motor insurer Zego has today announced the launch of its ‘Refer a Friend’ programme which will reward existing policyholders, as well as those they refer, when they sign up for one of Zego’s monthly or annual policies. The insurtech, which offers a range of products to those who use vehicles for work, will make their ‘Refer a Friend’ programme available to private hire drivers, food delivery drivers and riders, self-employed couriers and more.
The programme’s rewards work as follows. Existing Zego policyholders who refer a friend that purchases an annual policy will be given a £50 reward, while those who refer a friend that purchases a monthly policy will be given a £10 reward. The same rewards also apply to those being referred, with both parties being able to claim their rewards in the form of cash payment via PayPal or Amazon voucher. Furthermore, there is no cap on the number of referrals, so drivers can refer as many people as they like with both parties receiving rewards each time.
Today’s news comes as Zego continues to grow its presence in the food delivery, ride-hailing, fleet and new mobility sectors. The insurer has established itself as one of the insurance industry’s biggest disruptors since launching in 2016, having sold over 38 million insurance policies so far.
Commenting on the programme, CEO at Zego, Sten Saar said:
“Our new ‘Refer a Friend’ programme rewards Zego customers who recommend our products to fellow drivers. It turns existing, happy customers into ambassadors while enabling them to earn rewards for every family member, friend or colleague they refer. At Zego, we hope that with this new offer, more drivers and riders up and down the country will be able to enjoy Zego’s unique offering and earn a little extra as they go.”
