Deals: Prodinity Signs Up AMDEA

Data-driven insights specialist Prodinity is delighted to announce that it has signed its first Data Pooling client, the Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Appliances (AMDEA), a UK trade association representing the majority of manufacturers of large and small domestic appliances.

The three-year deal will enable AMDEA members to access Prodinity Data Pooling systems to secure a regular flow of market insights, view comprehensive and real time data on market sectors and distribution channels, as well as identify non-audited sales channels. Information provided to participating AMDEA companies is exclusive to them – they will own the data within the secure platform – and, as users, will have a say in the ongoing structure and future of the service.

Gary Roethenbaugh, Head of Data Pooling at Prodinity, said:

“As we roll out our ‘Be Data Driven’ strategy, we are absolutely delighted to welcome AMDEA as Prodinity Data Pooling’s newest client. Our systems will help members of the UK-based trade association to accurately benchmark their trading performance.

“Furthermore, we’re looking to enhance the provision of data by expanding the service offering, with cutting-edge machine learning helping to enhance data prediction and insights in the future.”

Paul Hide, CEO of AMDEA, said:

“On behalf of AMDEA and its more than 35 member companies, this new agreement with Prodinity will make a big difference – helping to ensure an ongoing flow of insights for our members.

“In a rapidly changing marketplace, regular and accurate monthly reporting is crucial for our members so that they can keep on top of the latest trends and plan accordingly. We look forward to working with the team at Prodinity Data Pooling to expand and enhance the insights for companies involved in the domestic appliance industry.”
