The Movo Partnership AR network (Movo) is delighted to announce that it has expanded its apprenticeship programme. Taking on five new young rising stars at a time when talent acquisition is a key barrier to growth for the insurance industry.
Over the course of the initial 12-month programme, the five new apprentices will gain exposure to every part of the business – including finance, claims, and IT as well as working as part of the broking team. In addition, thanks to its partnership with the Wiser Academy, Movo will provide tailored learning as the apprentices progress through their professional qualifications, as well as meaningful and highly valuable soft skills development and support, for example building all important relationships with brokers and underwriters.
Speaking about the apprenticeship scheme Liz Tytler, Head of Claims and HR at Movo, commented:
“We recruited our first apprentice in 2016 and have taken on many more since. With the addition of these five new school-leavers, the Movo Partnership is demonstrating once again that it’s a forward-thinking organisation, invested in talent development and ensuring that it not only has a strong pipeline of highly skilled professionals, but that it’s playing its part in attracting the next generation of talent into the industry. Broker consolidation is a huge threat; everyone needs a good broker on the high street. By encouraging more young people to forge long-term and highly successful careers in the industry we are ensuring independent broking survives and thrives for many years to come.
