WOODGATE AND CLARK
Woodgate & Clark, one of the U.K.’s leading loss adjusters has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointments of Ellie Page as Finance Director and Claire Fisk as Human Resources Director. Both roles report directly to James Eveling, MD of Woodgate & Clark. Ellie Page brings 15 years of expertise in insurance and financial services, joining Woodgate & Clark from Saga plc. Page will play a key role in supporting the delivery of business strategy through strong commercial insight – helping to enhance business performance, improve efficiencies and maximise revenue.
Claire Fisk has senior management experience from a diverse range of industries and proven expertise in creating high performing teams by embedding a positive, inclusive and unified workplace culture. Fisk will use her skills to drive forward Woodgate & Clark’s ongoing mission to develop the next generation of loss adjusters , by providing career pathways and the support needed to realise their career ambitions.
CONSILIUM

Consilium, the global speciality (re)insurance broking business of the Aventum Group, has announced the appointment of Marie McCutcheon as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Marie joins the Consilium senior leadership team with a remit to drive high levels of operational excellence.
Marie has joined Consilium from TT Club Mutual Insurance Ltd, where she held the role of Process Consultant. She has over 25 years’ experience in operational process optimisation, business change and targeted growth attainment in the financial services sector having previously worked in senior operations roles at Marsh, Canopius, Bluefin (where she was COO supporting the integration into Marsh), AIB, Novae, and Swiss Re. In her role at Consilium she will ensure its technology, people, and operations work in perfect unison, empowering each other to deliver an inspiring customer experience.
RESOLUTION LIFE

Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focusing on the acquisition and management of portfolios of life insurance policies, announces that it has appointed Moses Ojeisekhoba as President with effect from October 1, 2024 to deliver the next phase of the Company’s growth plans, working closely with Sir Clive Cowdery, the Founder, Chairman and CEO. Moses is expected to succeed Clive Cowdery as CEO during 2026 with Clive remaining Executive Chairman of Resolution Life.
Moses is an accomplished insurance executive with over 30 years’ experience in the sector. He joins from Swiss Re where he spent over 12 years in multiple senior executive positions. He was most recently CEO Global Clients & Solutions where amongst other things, he was responsible for managing relationships with some of Swiss Re’s key clients. Before this, he served as CEO Reinsurance and was instrumental in developing this division into its strong industry position today. Prior to this, he was CEO Reinsurance Asia and Regional President Asia and significantly grew its business in this region.
CARBON UNDERWRITING

Carbon Underwriting Limited (Carbon), the specialist, independent managing general underwriter and manager of Lloyd’s syndicates CBN 4747 and CBN 5757, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Julie Gallagher as Head of Syndicate Management, effective immediately. Julie joins Carbon from Asta Capital Limited, where she served as Head of Client Management. She brings extensive experience in managing syndicate underwriting performance and relationships, a key asset as Carbon continues to grow its innovative insurance offerings.
In her new role, Julie will oversee the management and performance of Carbon’s syndicates, including the recently launched Syndicate 5757, which has received Lloyd’s approval in principle to begin underwriting 1 January 2025.
BMS GROUP
BMS Group (BMS), the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, announces the appointment of Richard Dudley as Group Chief Broking Officer. Based in London, Dudley will report to BMS Group’s CEO, Nick Cook.
Dudley joins BMS with over 30 years of industry experience, including two decades in leadership roles. He most recently held the position of Global Head of Climate Strategy at Aon and has previously served as CEO of Aon’s Commercial Risk Wholesale and Specialty Broking operations in London. His reinsurance experience and leadership were instrumental in successfully integrating and growing Aon’s UK & Ireland and Benelux businesses following Aon’s acquisition of Benfield in 2008.
WTW
WTW (NASDAQ: WTW), a global advisory, broking and solutions company, has announced the appointment of Colin Dutkiewicz as Senior Director to its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Headquartered in London, Dutkiewicz will leverage his reinsurance, transaction and capital management expertise to further expand WTW’s market-leading capital advisory business.
Dutkiewicz has spent over 30 years in the life re/insurance industry and joins WTW from Aon, where he served as Global Head of Life for its Reinsurance Solutions business. In that role, he was responsible for bringing together the company’s regional resources to maximise its global Life capability and revenue growth. Prior to this, Dutkiewicz was Global Actuary at Swiss Re in its Life and Health business management team.
MARKEL
Markel, the insurance operations within the Markel Group Inc. (NYSE: MKL), has appointed Charlotte Harrison to the role of head of UK regional broker development. Harrison will be instrumental in developing key broker relationships and growing Markel’s revenue streams in its specialist markets and lines of business.
Harrison brings extensive experience to the role and comes from AXA, where she was head of SME development & proposition. Prior to that, she held several business development roles in the Manchester and across the wider UK market. Harrison also spent two years in their transformation programme looking at strategy across technology, broker/customer journeys and people to deliver changes including new underwriting platforms.
“This is an important role for Markel and we’re delighted to appoint such an experienced and capable individual in Charlotte,” said broker development director, Richard Brooks. “Her extensive background and connections in the broker channel, particularly around SME risks, including professional indemnity, will be invaluable as we look to build upon existing broker relationships and develop new ones.”
LOCKTON SWEDEN
Lockton Companies, the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance brokerage, has announced the appointment of Patrick Rönnqvist as Head of Affinity at Lockton Sweden. Patrick will officially join the team in February 2025, leaving Willis Towers Watson (WTW) after a 19-year tenure, where he most recently served as Lead Relationship Manager in Sweden and Finland.
Patrick brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, with deep expertise in client relationship management, particularly in the Affinity sector. At WTW, Patrick was instrumental in transforming the Affinity business model from a transactional broker to a solutions provider. He significantly expanded the portfolio, driven by his expertise in managing client relationships across Scandinavia.
ALLIANZ GLOBAL
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (‘AGCS’) has announced that Thomas Lillelund will join Allianz as the CEO of AGCS in early 2025 once his existing commitments have ended and subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Lillelund will also assume leadership of Allianz Commercial, Allianz Group’s integrated global model for serving the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance segment (Mid Corporate, Large Corporate and Specialty customers).
A Danish citizen with broad international experience, Mr. Lillelund is a global leader with a career of more than 25 years in the insurance industry. Prior to his current role as CEO of AIG Europe, Middle East and Africa, he has lived and worked in Europe, the UK, Singapore, South Africa, Hong-Kong and the United States for Aspen Re, Gen Re, and Swiss Re.

Arch Insurance International (Arch) has announced the promotions of Maggie Munns to the position of Head of Executive Assurance and Matthew Doherty to Director of Underwriting, Executive Assurance both effective immediately.
In her new role, Munns will be responsible for leading the underwriting activities of the Executive Assurance division which includes Commercial D&O, SME D&O, Financial Institutions and Transactional Risk. Based in London, she will report to Mike Lay, Chief Underwriting Officer, Long Tail Lines, for Arch Insurance International.
The promotion follows the relocation of Michael Chu to the U.S. where he will rejoin Arch Insurance North America in the role of Senior Vice President, P&C Programs. Munns is an accomplished underwriter, having started her career with Arch Insurance North America in 2015 before moving to London in 2021.
Doherty joined Arch in 2005 and was most recently Executive Assurance Underwriting Manager. In his new role, he will report to Munns.

Davies has announced the appointment of Paul O’Brien as the firm’s first Group Chief AI Officer.
The newly created role is one of a series of significant investments made by Davies to leverage innovation and capitalize on the value of artificial intelligence (AI), including the use of generative AI, across the business. As Chief AI Officer, Paul will be responsible for advancing the use of AI technology across the organization, developing a core strategy for the ethical use of GenAI, and to expand on our GenAI technologies across products and services that will drive additional value for the firm’s global client base.
