“The process of achieving B Corp certification has been a rigorous and rewarding journey and seeing JBA officially recognised is incredibly fulfilling. This certification reflects not only our commitment to enhancing our social and environmental impact but also the hard work of everyone involved.”

Simon Waller, JBA Risk Management’s Executive Chair, added:

“Being a B Corp means we’re more than just a business; we are a force for change. I believe that B Corp values are in JBA’s DNA. We’ve always endeavoured to make a positive impact on our workers, the community, the environment and our customers. We’re absolutely delighted to have joined the growing global movement.  Our certification officially recognises our ongoing journey towards continuous improvement and collective action.”

Certified B Corps also sign a Declaration of Interdependence. It says:

“We envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good. This economy is comprised of a new type of corporation – the B Corporation – which is  purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. As B Corporations and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe that we must be the change we seek in the world. That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place matter. That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all. To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.”
