The latest news from ThingCo, as they restructure their management;

Telematics insurtech, ThingCo, has restructured its management team, creating strong foundations for the next phase of its growth.  Following the £2million investment by BHL (UK) Holdings Limited earlier in the Summer, key individuals in the team have been promoted to ensure ThingCo can meet its ambitious plans to deliver intelligent connected insurance solutions that reduce risk and create customer value through telematics.

James Bashford has been made Director of Customer Relations and Business Development and will work closely with ThingCo’s existing clients to extend the scope of support it can provide. In his new role as Director of Operations, Alex Brockman is focused on streamlining processes across the business, aligned to ThingCo customers’ own objectives.  Matt Masters, as Director of Technology, will spearhead investment in ThingCo’s infrastructure to give it the scale to grow rapidly.

Mike Brockman, CEO will continue to lead the executive team alongside Martin Williams, Chief Operating Officer and Jon Valentine, Chief Technology Officer.

Commenting on the restructure of the management team, Mike Brockman said: “The BHL investment is enabling us to accelerate our product development, expand our market reach and further solidify our position as a leader in telematics innovation and it’s critical that we have a strong team to deliver this vision. James, Alex and Matt all understand the ThingCo business and the wider insurance industry and have the skills to take us to the next level as we set out to more than double our revenue and continue to deliver tangible benefits to our insurer partners, such as the substantial loss ratio reductions we’re already achieving.”

Delivering intelligent connected insurance solutions, ThingCo are experts at data analysis, risk management, first notification of loss (claims) and have developed all the proprietary tools to manage the process on behalf of the insurer. ThingCo works with insurers to design connected products that are attractive to end customers and will sell in volume. By reducing risk, insurers can price competitively. ThingCo also delivers superior loss ratios.
