The updated policy, redesigned in direct response to broker feedback, includes changes that improve clarity, ease of quoting and competitiveness in today’s market. Supported by a UK-wide network of over 1,200 recovery operators, Alps Road Rescue offers rapid assistance and recovery across the UK and Europe and delivers roadside response times that are competitive with major national providers – even during peak demand.
Delivered in partnership with Call Assist Ltd, a Which? Trusted Trader for roadside recovery, and underwritten by AmTrust Speciality Ltd, a division of AmTrust International – an A- rated global insurer, the refreshed policy offers four clearly defined levels of cover: Roadside Assistance & Local Recovery; Nationwide Recovery; Nationwide + Home/Base Assist and European Cover. Enhancements include:
- Key cover up to £50 per claim
- Battery assistance for EV’s and flat battery scenarios
- Misfuel assistance up to £1,500, including engine damage
- Pre-departure cover included as standard with European cover
- 24/7 multilingual access via phone, SMS or app
- Pay & Reclaim option enabling customers to use their preferred recovery provider (where authorised)
- Specialist Use Cover Types for: Classic Cars, Personal Motor Trader and Hire & Reward
Policyholders benefit from 24/7/365 access to a dedicated recovery operator and comprehensive support, including 60 minutes of roadside and base assistance, recovery and repatriation, alternative vehicle provision, and alternative accommodation expenses, no policy excess.
