AND-E Sees Improvements in Motor Claims Process

The main benefit of tech, AI and automated systems is the rapid – and accurate – settlement of claims. Here’s some good news from AND-E;

As it marks the first anniversary of insourcing Motor Fleet claims, supporting key brands including Toyota, Lexus and Kwik Fit, AND-E (Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Europe), has reported significant improvements in Motor Fleet claims resolution. The company believes central to the success is the investment it has made in people and technology over the last 12 months.  It is on target to achieve a 30% increase in headcount at its Newcastle Claims Centre of Excellence by the end of this year and it is now planning further investment in technology and data to support the growing team.

Over the past year, AND-E has strengthened the capability and capacity to provide brokers and fleet clients with a more responsive, efficient and customer-focused claims experience.  This has seen significant improvements across its claims performance metrics, including faster response times, reduced vehicle repair and claim lifecycles, increased third-party capture rates and improved management of third-party settlements. These operational improvements are translating into tangible benefits for fleet clients.

Commenting on the success of the project, Greg Cole, UK Claims Director, AND-E said: “The commitment and enthusiasm of our Newcastle team has been central to what we have achieved over the past 12 months. We are extremely proud of the team we have built here and, just as importantly, we want to continue investing in their development and creating opportunities for people to build their careers with AND-E.

“The next phase is about combining that human capability with technology, AI, richer data and continually improving processes. Technology should enable our people to do what they do best – apply their expertise, make better decisions and focus on delivering the right outcomes for our customers.

“We have ambitious plans for our Newcastle Centre of Excellence. By continuing to invest in our people alongside our technology and data capabilities, we believe we can make claims simpler and faster, continually improve the experience for brokers and fleet customers, and build a centre of excellence that both AND-E and the North East can be proud of.”
