Launching before the end of 2026, the partnership will give small businesses across the UK access to digital-first business insurance through the Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland brands.
Powered by Superscript’s technology, customers will be able to get a quote and buy business insurance in a matter of minutes via Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland online. Customers will be able to choose from a range of covers, receive instant proof of cover and make changes to their policy mid-term without admin fees.

Chris Barclay, CEO at Superscript, said: “We’re extremely proud to be chosen by Lloyds Banking Group to reshape how SME customers experience business insurance – not just by offering better cover, but by embedding peace of mind where it matters most: within the trusted Lloyds brand.”
“At Superscript, our mission is to give modern businesses the confidence to thrive through insurance that’s smarter, faster and built for how they work today. We’re not here just to match the market. We’re here to help Lloyds set a new standard for SME insurance – as a partner that’s fit for the future.”
Tori Butler, Managing Director of SME Insurance at Superscript, said: “Running a small business comes with enough admin without insurance adding another layer of complexity. Business owners need straightforward ways to understand their insurance options, choose the cover that works for them and get on with running their business.”
“That’s what makes our partnership with Lloyds so exciting. By bringing Superscript’s digital insurance experience together with the reach and trusted relationships of Lloyds, we can make insurance simpler and more accessible for more businesses across the UK.”
