Corona Impact: MIB Closes Its Office

The Motor Insurance Bureau has formally closed its offices. Here’s the official statement; We have been monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and have acted quickly to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees. In light of the government announcement yesterday we have taken the decision to close all of our offices from today 24 March.

We have taken a number of measures over the past week to protect our people and those close to them, including moving the majority of our workforce to work from home and allowing those who live with vulnerable people to self-isolate. Throughout this time we have done all we can to develop our resilience and continue to provide our core services, including providing a Claims service and a range of services to our Client Companies.

Due to the recent developments, we have had to make the following changes to how you contact us:

Claims

• We have extended appeal times to 12 weeks to help during this difficult time.
• Please email enquires@mib.org.uk to contact the Claims team

Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)

• Please email dsar@mib.org.uk in relation to any DSAR requests

We will review the situation on a continual basis and share any further updates.
