The Ardonagh Group has published its Gender Pay Gap Report for 2021. Some of highlights are worth noting. For example 68% of female staff received a bonus in 2021, compared to just 66% of men. However in the top 25% segment of earners across the group, just 27% were women. Last year Ardonagh enhanced maternity benefits, rolled out mandatory diversity training modules and adopted flexible working as the default setting across the company.
Gender pay gap reporting is retrospective, and this year’s report captures data at the snapshot date of 5 April 2021. At this time, Ardonagh had over 7,000 employees across several employing companies.
You can read the report in detail here, which includes a foreword from Group CEO David Ross and a summary of actions and initiatives the Group has undertaken during the reporting period to ensure Ardonagh, and the broader insurance industry, evolves to attract the very best talent from all backgrounds and create a more diverse workforce into the future.
