New UK Auction Site Shows The Way With AI Powered Descriptions

Hey maybe there is an alternative to eBay and Facebook Marketplace. Here’s the word on a new auction site which uses AI text tools for sellers, thus saving time on descriptions. Handy. We think this kind of tool will be useful for insurance brands wanting to describe key product features in marketing and promotions one day – subject to regulator checks of course. Here’s the word;

Jogiton is a newly launched online auction marketplace with a difference – users will not be charged a fee in order to sell items on the platform. Buyers can shop for items in a wide range of categories including electronics, home and garden, and clothing and accessories. While Jogiton is an auction platform, sellers can also set a fixed price for their items for buyers to score an instant win.

One exciting feature of the platform is its use of AI. For example, sellers will be able to create item descriptions using AI assistance, a tool that will be especially useful for sellers who are uploading multiple items at once, or are not sure what to include in a description. It takes less than two minutes to upload an item for sale on Jogiton.

Jogiton is committed to being a force for good in the community. Based in Manchester, the company is supporting local charity E.G.G (Engage, Grow, Go), who work with homeless people in the region. The charity aims to help its clients access accommodation, healthcare, work and training opportunities, as well as support them in rebuilding relationships.

Richard Howarth, Commercial Director at Jogiton comments:

“We’re tremendously excited here at Jogiton to be launching our online marketplace – we can’t wait to share it with buyers and sellers alike. We designed the platform to be as easy to use as possible, and we kept helping shoppers save money in the front of our minds.

“Jogiton has a handy suggestion feature so that all our users can send us any feedback they might have, and we’re keen to keep developing and improving the marketplace as time goes on. In the meantime, we hope all new users enjoy our introductory offers – no fees for any users in the first month, and from then on for the first year, the chance to win a £50 voucher in our community rewards programme.”

As an introductory offer, all fees for buyers will be waived until the end of March. Usually, buyers will pay a 10% buyers fee, so the month of the launch will be a perfect opportunity to make additional savings. There will still be a small transaction fee from PayPal which cannot be waived, but apart from that there will be no platform fees.
