Cytora, the leading digital risk processing platform, have announced a strategic partnership with LightBox, a leader in cutting edge U.S. real estate data and geospatial information, to transform how insurers digitize risk intake and accelerate decision-making.
Through this collaboration, insurers using Cytora’s platform can gain seamless access to LightBox’s comprehensive property data, enabling them to evaluate risks more accurately, track market trends, and enhance underwriting precision. This includes access to LightBox’s extensive repository of property characteristics, building footprints, boundary details, neighborhood insights, and environmental data.
LightBox’s advanced data solutions deliver insights from more than 10,000 sources across the U.S., providing insurers deeper context when assessing property risk exposure. With the integration of LightBox’s data into Cytora’s platform, underwriters can streamline their workflows, improve risk selection, and make more informed underwriting decisions based on real-time property information.
This new relationship with LightBox is the latest integration partnership Cytora has agreed as the insurtech seeks to build one of the world’s most comprehensive data ecosystems for insurers. It also follows a period of significant growth for Cytora including agreeing to a major collaboration with Chubb, and the launch of the latest version of its platform earlier this year, which leverages agentic AI to bring a new level of performance and explainability to risk assessment and underwriting processes.
Zaheer Hooda, Cytora’s Head of North America, said: “At Cytora, we are committed to equipping insurers with high-quality data that enhances underwriting precision. Our collaboration with LightBox ensures that underwriters have access to cutting-edge property intelligence, helping them to proactively assess and mitigate risks with unparalleled accuracy. It is the next step on our mission to deliver innovation and best-in-class data to insurers to enhance risk evaluation and underwriting excellence, allowing them to stay ahead in the dynamic risk landscape.”
Caroline Stoll, General Manager of Data and Analytics at LightBox, commented: “In today’s challenging environment, access to accurate and complete information is more critical than ever. Our nationwide property data, combined with Cytora’s powerful risk processing capabilities, will help insurers navigate an ever-changing risk environment with agility and precision. Together, we are setting a new standard for property risk assessment in the insurance industry.”
