OK, it’s nearly Easter so here’s the latest job moves round-up and it will be two weeks until the next one.
LIBERTY
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Anabella Frontado to the newly created role of Head of War & Terrorism, US and Latin America (LatAm). Frontado will dually report to William Goldberg, Chief of Staff, LSM US & LatAm and Mike Burle, interim Global Head of War & Terrorism. Frontado’s promotion is effective immediately and she is based in Miami, US.
With more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, working within the UK, US and LatAm markets, Frontado is perfectly placed to lead LSM’s market-leading, global underwriting team. Frontado will be responsible for the profitable growth of the line in the US and LatAm while continuing to work closely with claims and underwriting teams to provide solutions for clients and brokers.
Lillian Hua, Underwriting Specialist, War & Terrorism, US and LatAm continues to support the team. Deiby Rios joins the organization on 25th March as Underwriting Officer. Both will write business in both LatAm and US and report to Frontado.
BRIDGE INSURANCE

BMS, the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, announces the appointment of Daniel Leahy as cyber practice divisional director. He will co-lead BMS’ cyber practice alongside fellow divisional director Simon Meech and will report to BMS cyber strategy director, Monica Tigleanu. Based in London, Leahy will join in September.
A respected cyber broker who has worked in the London Market for almost a decade, Leahy joins from Howden, where he was divisional director of cyber & technology, and brings extensive knowledge of the cyber insurance market. Prior to Howden, Leahy worked in the cyber & technology team at Miller Insurance Services LLP. Leahy’s appointment marks a continuation of BMS’s growth in the cyber insurance market and will enable the division to further diversify its client coverage, helping BMS continue to reshape the client experience and make risk transfer as seamless as possible for risk managers and chief information security officers.
BMS also announces pleased to announce that Tom Spraggs, Richard Austwick, and Tom Woolcott will join its financial and professional risks (Finpro) division, following the fulfilment of their contractual obligations. Based in London, the trio will report to Drew Harvey, director of Finpro at BMS.
Spraggs, Austwick, and Woolcott join from Howden’s financial institutions team, formerly Protean Risk, and will focus on providing tailored solutions to BMS’ direct clients. With a diversity of experience and broad-reaching networks, the new hires mark BMS’ commitment to diversifying its portfolio and leveraging insights from different market segments to better serve its clients.
Spraggs joins as director and head of UK financial institutions. Having formerly been a member of the executive committee and a team leader at Howden, Spraggs brings more than a decade of experience delivering complex insurance solutions and a specialization in asset management. Austwick joins as divisional director and brings a decade’s worth of experience advising clients in the financial services sector. Woolcott, joins as a broker and has experience managing a range of clients from investment managers and funds to private equity and venture capital entities across the UK and Europe.
HCML

HCML, the leading providers of corporate health services, case management, and treatment services, has appointed David House as a Non-Executive Director. David joins the HCML Board and becomes a member of the Remuneration committee and Chair of HCML’s healthcare trust subsidiary. In his new role, David will use his experience and expertise working alongside the board and executive committee. David will help steer HCML through the next stage of business growth, as one of the UK’s leading healthcare specialists, with a particular focus on the corporate health division.
David brings over 25 years’ experience working in senior HR roles to HCML, and has been instrumental in the development of health and wellbeing strategies across FTSE100 companies including TUI Travel plc and InterContinental Hotels Group plc. In addition, David has served on the board for various health trusts as a director and chair. David’s most recent role was at Centrica where he spent 12 years with the group in senior positions including Deputy Group HR Director and Chair of Centrica’s Healthcare Trust. David was also Chief Operating Officer at British Gas and Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Spirit Energy, a joint venture between Centrica and Stadtwerke München.
CYTORA
Cytora has announced the expansion of its global advisory board in welcoming insurance industry veteran Emmanuel Clarke. The move is designed to support Cytora’s global growth.
Formerly president and CEO of PartnerRe, Emmanuel Clarke has had a broad and successful career in the insurance industry including leadership roles across property and casualty (P&C) and specialty lines as well as building out a global reinsurance business. Clarke serves on the board of various companies including Intact Financial Corporation, BMS and Compre.

SCHRODERS CAPITAL
Schroders Capital, the specialist private markets division of the Schroders Group, announces the appointment of Ingo Heinen as the Global Head of Business Development and Product.
In this newly-created role, Ingo will drive business development globally in partnership with Schroders’ Client Group and lead the evolution and management of Schroders Capital’s products and solutions, focused on delivering market-leading investment solutions for clients.This senior appointment marks the latest significant milestone in expanding Schroders Capital’s global platform, which currently provides investors with access across a variety of asset classes, including real estate, infrastructure and private equity, as well as private debt and credit alternatives investments. During 2023, Schroders Capital generated $11.6 billion of fundraising across this suite of private market capabilities.
WORLD TRAVEL PROTECTION

Global travel risk management company World Travel Protection – part of the Zurich Insurance Group – has appointed Chris Knight as Chief Director of Global Provider Networks.
Chris will be based in World Travel Protection’s London Command Centre and has over 20 years experience in operations and transformation, including most recently working for Healix, as Director of Business Transformation.
Before this, he spent six years as Director of Assistance Operations for Charles Taylor Assistance where he was responsible for all aspects of medical assistance, Retail, Corporate, IPMI, Direct clients’ teams and utilising the Global Network and Cost Containment team to complement the services he had direct leadership responsibility over. Chris has also worked with Crisis24 (formerly known as Drum Cussac Risk Management Services) as the Operations Director.
