The Insurance Marketers Group (IMG) is delighted to announce that Linh Nguyen ACIM, of Liberty Specialty Markets, is its Young Insurance Marketer of the Year and has won a place on EDII’s year-long Digital Minds programme.
The IMG Young Marketer of the Year Award celebrates and recognises the highly-skilled marketing talent working in the insurance industry and puts the spotlight on marketers who have demonstrated stand-out marketing flair in the past year. Candidates must have been in marketing for less than five years on 1 July 2021.
Congratulations also to Kate Rutherford at DUAL Asset for scooping the judges Highly Commended plus a training bursary provided by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The judges stated that the shortlisted nominees, including Evie Beentjes of CFC, Jessica Williams of Markel UK and Sarah Griffiths of Beazley, made the process of picking just one winner incredibly difficult.
At the in-person event, held in the Old Library at Lloyd’s of London, the five shortlisted candidates and dozens of insurance industry supporters congregated to celebrate the best in the business.
IMG co-founder, Michelle Leach, was struck by the atmosphere in the Old Library commenting: “Our five finalists were incredibly proud and supportive of each other, all acknowledging each other’s achievements during what was such a challenging year to be working in marketing and communications.”
IMG co-founder, Verity Blair, added: “We thank all our entrants for all they are doing to continue to drive the marketing agenda within their organisations, and beyond. They are all rising stars who work hard and really support one another in keeping with the spirit of the IMG.”
